Why did the first customer only have 1500 kbps downloads when he was paying for 6 Meg?
Why did the second customer's cable broadband go down every day during peak usage time? Because unlike DSL which is dedicated bandwidth, cable broadband is shared bandwidth; that is, customers
share a pool of bandwidth with their neighbors, street, subdivision, etc. At peak usage times, bandwidth may be easily saturated. Thus, the actual bandwidth may be much less than expected.
This is why 1.5 meg DSL may be faster than 6 meg Cable service.
